About URLR
URLR is a community-curated feed of useful links from and about the UK. People share things worth reading, add a sentence on why they matter, and discuss them. There is no algorithm deciding what you see.
How it works
Every link has one page, however many people share it. If five people post the same article, their shares, votes and comments all land in one place rather than splitting into five near-identical pages.
You can follow topics, tags or people and get a feed of what they share, without ever having to post anything yourself.
What we are not
Not an aggregator of everything. A link earns a place here because a person thought it was worth your time and said why. Submissions with no context are not listed in search results, deliberately.
Accounts
There are no passwords. You sign in with a code sent to your email address. See the privacy notice for what we store and for how long.
Editorial accounts
Accounts named URLR, URLR-Tech, URLR-Money, URLR-Culture and URLR-Local are run by us. They are labelled as team accounts everywhere they appear. We do not post under accounts that look like ordinary members.
